Teardrop studio was formed by Domeinic Jimenez while freelancing as an art handler and fabricator in San Antonio, Texas. While freelancing in the world of art labor, he recognized a lack of personal connection felt between the museum world and larger creative public & made efforts in his work life to bridge the gap and embrace contemporary art, production, design and culture. Embracing traditional practices like sign painting and glass gilding, and using analog video practices with an experimental approach to projects, Teardrop Studio holds a core value in working with the community to create art that feels human.
